For 2025 I picked a project to entertain myself while also learning about AI. I decided I was going to create one music album per month, each in a different genre. The album for august is an electronic dance music / deep house themed album and the song on the above video is one of them.

Je ne parlez vous francais
Its wrong, bad french. I know – its the whole point of it. As a student in The Netherlands we were required to take french classes. For a good 4 years I scored absolute bottom grades on any french test. Lets just say that the teaching methods did not coincide with my learning style. The one thing I did grok tho, was ‘Je ne parlez pas Francais, Parlez vous anglais’: I dont speak french, do you speak english? It seemed like the one phrase that might be of any use to me in life if I ever met a frenchman. Turns out, it ended up in this video.
The Baguettes
While creating the music track, one of my discord friends mentioned the simple ‘Le Baguette’ and it made its way into the lyrics. From there, it became kind of logical to make the video about the baguettes. The images tell a vague story about baguettes going to space and returning to earth with new friends. Most of the images generated are inspired by the music at that point in the track. Dont break your brain trying to find a deeper meaning – there is none

The music is created and edited in the AI music generator https://suno.com/ – the prompt for the style is ‘gibberish edm infused with new york hip hop samples, scat voice, electro neuro beats, theramin, up tempo’, and the ‘weirdness’slider was set to 83%.
The video was generated with Googles VEO 3 model over at https://getimg.ai/ – The prompts for those videos were created with ChatGPT based of my scene descriptions, after I told ChatGPT to read the instructions for making good prompts for the getimg.ai tool
